Capturing what matters
"I had the pleasure of working alongside Teresa for three years at Auburn, collaborating with her on a daily basis. She consistently brought a level of work ethic and professionalism that made her someone I could always count on - reliable, thorough, and genuinely invested in doing things right. Teresa is exactly the kind of colleague who elevates the people around her."
"Teresa was an absolute pleasure to work with and the most talented employee I have ever worked with in the athletics creative space. She is smart, adaptable, and her content is first class."
"Teresa created an organized and supportive environment for students and everyone working in the creative department, while still giving us the freedom to express our own creativity and ideas. As a student intern, I really valued the guidance and trust she gave us throughout our time there. She made sure we were gaining real-world experience and learning skills that would prepare us for future internships and careers after graduation. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned and grown under her leadership."
"Teresa is a gifted storyteller whose genuine empathy for her subjects shines through, making her narratives both authentic and deeply engaging."
"Teresa strives for the best and is a multitalented individual who is always willing to take on a challenge. She is never short of creativity and is always ready for her next adventure."
"I had the pleasure of working with Teresa on several projects and she was wonderful to work with. She is incredibly organized, detail oriented and communicates clearly throughout projects. She has a great eye for content and knows how to create work that is engaging and effective.

Built on storytelling
When I started my education at Western Michigan University, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do. I declared a major in Film, Video, and Media Studies. I knew I wanted to create, but still figuring out where that passion would take me.

During my sophomore year, I began immersing myself in Kalamazoo’s local media scene. I became a DJ at 89.1 WIDR Kalamazoo, served as Editor-in-Chief of the WMU chapter of The Black Sheep, played in the university’s pep band for basketball and hockey games, and wrote as a sports columnist for the Western Herald. Each experience gave me a different perspective on storytelling, creativity, and the ways people connect through media.

I found the direction I had been searching for when I joined Bronco Productions and began pursuing a career in live sports broadcasting. That experience coincided with an undefeated season for Western Michigan football, giving me the opportunity to witness firsthand the power of sports storytelling.Â

Still searching for more ways to elevate my skills, one of my professors recommended me for an internship with the Western Michigan Alumni Association. There I worked with the creative team and donors to help elevate student and alumni stories through photography and film.

After graduation, I decided to pursue a career in college athletics. I accepted a role as a creative associate with Bronco Productions, creating feature stories and video board elements. Shortly after I was recommended for a position at Purdue Fort Wayne where I would take the lead on creative storytelling and live broadcasting.Â

A year later, I accepted a position at Northern Kentucky University Athletics as the Director of Digital Media, which allowed me to focus entirely on creative storytelling through social media, the athletics website, and live events. I documented the Norse's third time in four years winning the men's basketball Horizon League Championship, and worked through the adversity of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

Auburn University came next in my athletics career, where I worked with a team of highly talented sports videographers which helped take my skills to the next level. I shifted my passion to educating and supporting students that wanted to pursue a career in athletics media. After living in Alabama for almost three years, I accepted the position as Director of Creative Services (Athletics) at the University of Nevada, Reno. I built a creative student program from the ground up, with three graduates that are now working with professional sports teams.

After a decade of working in sports broadcasting and creative services, I’m taking the next step in my career by building something of my own. I’m bringing everything I’ve learned—from live production and video to photography, creative direction, and visual storytelling—into my freelance business.

My goal is simple: create stories, capture meaningful moments, and make work that leaves an impact. I want to partner with people, organizations, and communities who have stories worth telling and use my experience to bring those stories to life in an authentic and compelling way.

This next chapter is about more than creating content. It’s about being intentional with the stories I tell, the people I work with, and the impact that work can have on the communities around us.
